Women in the World Miami 2019 was presented by Bumble Bizz at Faena Festival as part of Art Basel week.
Over brunch at Faena Forum, Tina Brown interviewed artist Faith Ringgold and her daughter Michele Wallace, and journalist Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani interviewed artist and activist Saskia Niño de Rivera.

After a lifetime of creating art (Oprah once commissioned her to create a quilt for Maya Angelou's birthday) Faith Ringgold finally broke through when she was almost 80 years old, and her artwork now hangs next to Picasso's in New York's MOMA.
Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani Interviews Artist and Activist Saskia Niño de Rivera
Saskia is a Mexican-American artist. She is president of the nonprofit organization Reinserta, which she founded at just 24 years old. Reinserta is committed to creating a safer Mexico by supporting its invisible, imprisoned populations.
