On Thursday, comedian Amy Schumer appeared to confirm reports that she had married chef Chris Fischer by sharing photos of herself in a wedding dress holding hands with Fischer, who is sporting a tuxedo. The image, which Schumer captioned simply, “Yup,” appeared to be from the couple’s vow exchange. And it looks to have been quite the star-studded affair, if not a secret one. Jennifer Lawrence, Larry David and Chelsea Handler were among those who, according to Schumer’s photos on Instagram, were there to celebrate the nuptials
Schumer’s secretive relationship with Fischer was first speculated on in November, after People spotted the pair dining out together in New York City. On February 11, Schumer shared a picture of herself kissing Fischer, whom she did not identify, in an Instagram post extending birthday wishes to Ellen DeGeneres, who turned 60 on January 26. Unsurprisingly, sharp-eyed users in the comments section were quick to reveal Fischer as Schumer’s mystery beau.
Fischer, the co-author of James Beard Award winning Beetlebung Farm Cookbook, was previously employed at popular New York City restaurant Babbo. He is currently working to preserve his family’s farm in Martha’s Vineyard, according to an interview with Boston Magazine.
