By WITW Staff on November 16, 2017

As the avalanche of sexual assault and harassment allegations in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal shows no signs of abating, men may be wondering what their role in this cultural shift should be. In fact, Jon Stewart, addressing the Louis C.K. revelations this week specifically said, “You always find yourself back to a moment of, ‘Did I miss something? Could I have done more?’”

Well, since you wondered, Jon, yes … yes, there is. Mic put together a video clip of powerful women — including Laverne Cox, Sheila Nevins, Cindi Leive, Uza Adubo and more — giving some advice to men about what they can do to deter sexual harassment in the workplace and, really, every place. It might all be best summed up by NBC reporter Katy Tur who said, “My advice to men … is to just be decent human beings. It’s a pretty low bar. Just clear that bar.” It’s a low bar indeed. Watch below to see the rest of the advice women had for men.
