Singer Joy Villa, who famously wore a Make America Great Again dress to the Grammys in February, has told Fox News that she plans on running for political office so she can support President Trump’s policies.

“I’m looking at Florida, I’m looking at California and I’m looking at New York, because these are all places I live and work and have grown up in,” Villa, 25, said during an appearance on Fox and Friends Friday morning. “If I run, I’m going to win.”There’s such a need for good congressmen, for good people in office who are putting forth the aims of the people, not just their own agenda.”

Villa, who describes herself as a scientologist and “unabashed conservative Trump supporter,” added that she would run on a plan advocating tax reform and restricting immigration.

Villa’s announcement evidently caught the eye of Trump, who sent out a tweet offering the young singer her support during his daily morning Twitter storm.
