Early entrance

TV news anchor finishes show despite her water breaking on air

News 4 New York anchor Natalie Pasquarella had her water break live on the air on Tuesday, but in an amazing feat of dedication and self-control managed to conceal what had happened until after she completed the show. The only visible sign that Pasquerella gave of what had happened was a nervous laugh toward the end of one of her reports — she reportedly only told her colleagues what had happened once the show was over.

“That little giggle, that laugh, was the moment when Natalie’s water broke, live on this set, live on-air,” her co-anchor told viewers on Wednesday.

Pasquarella later gave birth to baby Jamin James Pastore in a hospital. In a post made to Instagram, she shared an image of the newborn alongside the caption: “A beautiful blessing decided to make his entrance early!”
