Mischa Barton, known for her role as Marissa Cooper on The OC, has been involved in a drawn-out civil suit against her ex-boyfriend, Adam Spaw, who she claimed was trying to sell “revenge porn” sex tapes of the two of them, which he secretly filmed. She was set to testify in the case yesterday, but the court date was postponed for a third time because of Spaw’s lawyer’s sudden illness.

Thursday’s postponement is third time that the trial has been delayed due to medical issues, but Barton’s lawyer Lisa Bloom said they are still very committed to seeing justice done. “[Mischa] has always maintained that the images were obtained without her knowledge or consent and that’s clearly a violation of the law and that’s why she’s fighting this case, it’s a form of domestic abuse, the judge has already ruled that,” she said.  “Mischa wants everybody to know, I want everybody to know, that if you are a victim of revenge porn, you can go into court and get orders to protect you.”

Bloom appeared at the Women in the World Canada Summit in September and talked about her work in busting up bro culture, which most notably resulted in the ouster of Bill O’Reilly from Fox News earlier this year. Watch her highlights from the conversation below.
