In a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked, controversial boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. weighed in on Donald Trump’s infamous “grab them by the pussy” remarks heard in the leaked Access Hollywood tape, and pretty much praised the president for his sexist, demeaning words. “People don’t like the truth … He speak like a real man spoke,” Mayweather told the magazine. “Real men speak like, ‘Man, she had a fat ass. You see her ass? I had to squeeze her ass. I had to grab that fat ass.’ Right? So he talking locker room talk. Locker room talk. ‘I’m the man, you know what I’m saying? You know who I am. Yeah, I grabbed her by the pussy. And?'”

As if these comments aren’t crass and uncalled for enough on their own merit, it’s important to keep in mind that Mayweather has a rather disturbing track record with women. The boxer is a confessed domestic abuser who has also been accused of assaulting at least five women over the past decade. Trump and Mayweather are no strangers to each other: the president has attended several of the boxer’s prizefights, and the two had a meeting last year at Trump Tower, some eight days after Trump had been elected president. In the same interview, Mayweather also claims he attended Trump’s inauguration. You know what they say about birds of a feather.
