Celebrated actor and enthusiastic Twitter user Don Cheadle does not have time for the legions of angry men who got upset about a women-only Wonder Woman screening hosted by the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater in Austin, Texas. Taking to Twitter, a bunch of whiny men cried “gender discrimination” and “reverse sexism,” arguing that “hypocritical” feminists would be upset over “men-only” movie screenings too.

“You guys really have to stop with this stupid analogy. It’s apples to carburetor parts,” Cheadle wrote in one tweet, dismissing the idea that some type of double standard had been applied.

“A double standard presupposes equal footing. This ain’t that,” he responded to one Twitter user. It wasn’t only detractors, though, who were showing up in Cheadle’s Twitter replies. The actor retweeted one fan who said he supported these exclusive screenings, adding that the ticket price “should only be 85 percent of normal to reflect gender wage disparity.”
