J.K. Rowling takes to Twitter with message for trolls on International Women’s Day

By WITW Staff on March 8, 2017

J.K. Rowling, queen of all things magical in this world, took to Twitter again on Wednesday in honor of International Women’s Day, casting the first stone against the trolls that were sure to come out in full force. Brandishing the hashtag #InternationalWomensDay as her digital weapon of choice, Rowling shut down the haters before they could even get started.

The battle concluded, Rowling took to Twitter again posting links to several articles and works inspired and written by women, and drawing attention back to where it should be on this International Women’s Day: Celebrating women and gender equality across the world.
