New commercial about gender equality is giving us all the feels

By WITW Staff on March 3, 2017

If you’re looking for something nice and sweet to ease you into the weekend, we’ve got just the video for you. It won’t even take two minutes of your time to watch, and it will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy and restore your faith in all that’s good in the world. The ad is from Procter & Gamble and is tied to International Women’s Day coming on March 8. Watch closely — it’s made from what appears to be a bunch of candid video clips that depict traditionally “male” and “female” scenarios, but it shows men in the female situations and women in the male situations. Ahhh — and if that’s not enough, it’s all set to a soundtrack provided by the all-female rock band The 4 Non Blondes. Their hit 1993 song “What’s Up?” — with Linda Perry’s soaring vocals — underscores the inspiring imagery. It really couldn’t be more perfect. Give it a watch below and feel better about … everything.
