Women’s March on Washington releases full list of speakers for rally

(Instagram).

Organizers of the Women’s March on Washington have released the lineup of speakers booked for the rally preceding the march on Saturday morning, a day after Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 45th president.

The extensive list includes a breadth of prominent names ranging from actresses Scarlett Johansson and America Ferrera; to liberal activist Michael Moore and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser.

The rally will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Independence Avenue and Third Street SW, and people will begin marching west at about 1:15 p.m. Hundreds of thousands people are expected to attend. Organizers insist the march is to champion women’s rights, rather than to protest the new president.
