Atif Aslam, a Pakistani singer, interrupted a live performance in Karachi over the weekend to admonish a group of men who were allegedly harassing a young woman in the audience.

A video of the incident, which has been shared thousands of times on Twitter, shows the singer addressing the harassers. “Have you ever seen a girl?” he asks. “She could be your mother or sister.” Atif also told them to “act like a human being,” The Times of India reports.

Atif asked security guards to pull the girl out of the crowd and onto the stage, which they can be seen doing near the end of the video clip. He only resumed the concert once he was sure she was safe.

Pakistani media have reported that the venue hosting the concert was overcrowded, and several women reported being harassed during the show.
