Krista Threefoot, Michele’s mother, posted a photo of her daughter’s costume on Facebook. The post drew thousands of likes and attracted the attention of Ginsburg staffers.

Michele was “really, really, really” excited to receive a letter from her hero, Threefoot said. She added that Michele brought the letter to show and tell last Friday.
