Ruth Bader Ginsburg (a.k.a. Notorious R.B.G.) sent a handwritten note to a girl who dressed up as the Supreme Court justice for her school’s superhero day last month.
“You look just like me,” the note read. “May you continue to thrive on reading and learning.”

Yahoo News reports that 8-year-old Michele Threefoot picked Ginsburg as her superhero of choice because she had been reading I Dissent, a children’s book about Ginsburg’s life. She wore large glasses and her hair pulled back into a bun, in keeping with Ginsburg’s signature look.
Krista Threefoot, Michele’s mother, posted a photo of her daughter’s costume on Facebook. The post drew thousands of likes and attracted the attention of Ginsburg staffers.
Michele was “really, really, really” excited to receive a letter from her hero, Threefoot said. She added that Michele brought the letter to show and tell last Friday.
