Maybelline reveals its 1st-ever male make-up model

Manny Gutierrez, one of the so-called beauty boys who has found viral fame by sharing popular makeup tutorial videos, will be the very first male face of cosmetics giant Maybelline. With three million Instagram followers and two million subscribers to his YouTube channel (which he launched in July 2014), Gutierrez is one of the most popular male make-up vloggers. He currently stars in the brand’s “That Boss Life” campaign, which promotes the “Big Shot Mascara” along with Shayla Mitchell (another Instagram celebrity) and Jackie Flowers, who joined the campaign by winning a sweepstakes. “Honestly I couldn’t be more honored [or] thrilled!,” Gutierrez wrote on his Instagram. “Thank you to Maybelline for taking a chance on me!”
