Women in the World returned to the Lone Star State on Monday night for its San Antonio Salon. On the top of everybody’s mind is the stunning result of last week’s presidential election in which Donald Trump upset Hillary Clinton, and a Women in the World panel put that very outcome and its aftermath under the microscope for a crackling discussion. The panel, titled “After the Mud Bath,” was moderated by Bianna Golodryga, anchor for Yahoo News and Finance, and included Lorena Chambers, CEO, Chambers Lopez Strategies, Emily Ramshaw, editor-in-chief of The Texas Tribune, and Jenifer Sarver, principal, Sarver Strategies.
They debated what type of president Trump might turn out to be, how much Clinton is to blame for her defeat and the staggering number of women who turned out to vote for Trump. Watch three clips below from Monday night’s event, or watch the entire panel, and don’t forget to check out other riveting panels from the Salon.
