Elizabeth Warren has a message for Trump: ‘Nasty women vote’

October 24, 2016

With just 15 days remaining until American goes to the polls to elect its next president, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts returned to the campaign trail in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Warren was particularly fired up on Monday at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire, where she denounced Trump for thinking that because he’s rich he can engage in all manner of disrespectful behavior toward “half of the people in this country.” She continued, making reference to the leaked 2005 audio in which Trump was heard boasting to Billy Bush about how he likes to force himself on women.

“He thinks that because he has a mouthful of Tic Tacs he can force himself on any woman within groping distance. Well I’ve got news for you Donald Trump. Women have had it with guys like you!” Warren said as the crowd of supporters erupted in applause. And she wasn’t finished. Referencing a remark he interjected while Clinton was answering a question late during the final presidential debate last Wednesday. “And nasty women have really had it with guys like you. Get this, Donald,” she continued. “Nasty women are tough, nasty women are smart and nasty women vote!” Watch a clip of the exciting part of her speech below. The people on hand loved it — you probably will too.

And that wasn’t all — she also had some choice words for one of her senate colleagues.
