As they stood on the tarmac, wind blowing in their hair, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton just could not pull herself away from Vice President Joe Biden. It could have been a scene from Casablanca, if not for the fact that the former secretary of state continued to try to wriggle out of the vice president’s embrace as he held on and continued chatting for an awkwardly long time in front of a slew of cameras as the pair greeted each other Monday in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The internet took immediate delight in the video of the 15-second embrace, sharing memories of other times Biden has been overly affectionate toward women in public places. Last year Biden was caught putting his hands on the shoulders of U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter’s wife, Stephanie Carter, at a press conference, and whispering in her ear.

During Biden’s latest hands-on encounter, Clinton greeted him by saying, “Hello my dear,” and the pair shared a hug and a laugh. As she patted his arm to signal that the hug had run its natural course, he held on to her waist, continuing to talk. Eventually, the pair let go and hit the campaign trail, including a rally and a visit to his childhood home. At the end of the day, he kissed her forehead goodbye and headed back to Washington. Casablanca it was not, but here’s lookin’ at you, Mr. Vice President.
