Oprah Winfrey and Ava DuVernay are reportedly teaming up to bring a beloved children’s story to the big screen. According to Deadline, Winfrey will play Mrs. Which in the Disney movie A Wrinkle in Time, in which three “mysterious” women send the young protagonist on a journey through time and space. Mrs. Which is known in the book as a vague shimmering light who dispenses cryptic advice to the main character. Winfrey previously worked with DuVernay on Selma, and is working on a slew of other movies including her network’s Greenleaf, Lee Daniels’ Richard Pryor biopic, and a TV movie version of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.

The classic children’s book by Madeleine L’Engle was a Newbery Medal-winner in 1963, and will be adapted into script form by the writer of Frozen, Jennifer Lee, according to Deadline. DuVernay has said she is hoping to put together a diverse cast for A Wrinkle in Time.
