Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been in the news a lot lately for her feud with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, but her “appearance” on MSNBC Thursday was her best one yet. Comedian and Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon dressed as the Supreme Court Justice affectionately known as the Notorious RBG during a mock interview with SNL’s Colin Jost at the Republican National Convention. When Jost suggested Ginsburg was coming on strong with Trump, she agreed.
“I don’t know any other way Colin, Trump picked a fight with the wrong 15-pound, 200-year-old marionette, baby. You know I’ve been doing CrossFit. I try to cross my arms and legs and try and fit inside a suitcase,” she said. “It happens every time.”
When asked about the possibility of Chris Christie being nominated to the Supreme Court under a President Trump, RBG was unimpressed.
“Chris Christie on the Supreme Court? Please I’d rather have an empty chair than a broken chair,” she said. “And that’s a Gins-burn.”
