Michelle Obama has made her highly anticipated “Carpool Karaoke” appearance on CBS’s The Late Late Show, and it didn’t disappoint. The first lady and host James Corden took a spin around the White House grounds, with him ostensibly being taken on a tour, past the Rose Garden and the president’s Oval Office.

“Is he in there right now?” inquired an excited Corden.

“He’d better be — that’s where he said he was,” quipped Obama.

Before long, Obama and Corden are dueting to Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered,  including impressive back-up singing by the first lady (“I think I know every Stevie song on the planet”); Beyonce’s All The Single Ladies, with requisite hand movements, and are joined by Missy Elliott for This Is For My Girls (a natural segue from Obama discussing her educational initiative, Let Girls Learn) and Get Ur Freak On.

Asked by Corden what she will miss about life at the White House, Obama had this to say: “I’m going to miss the people. These are people you see every single day. They help you, they love you, you know their families. You know, to walk away from people you see every single day, that’s got to be hard.”
