Caitlin Jenner has rarely been shy about sharing her political beliefs, and this week the I Am Cait star said in an interview she believed Donald Trump was “very much for women” and “very much behind the LGBT community,” though she admitted Democrats are generally better on LGBT issues.

“As far as the transgender community, they’ve actually been very good,” Jenner told Stat, a website devoted to health and medicine, in an interview. “Everybody looks at Democrats as being better with these issues.”

Jenner said that Clinton is more dependable on LGBT issues but Trump “seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue. He backed the LGBT community.”

Jenner added that there are more “unknowns” with Trump. In an episode of her TV show earlier this year, Jenner declared she would “never, ever, ever” vote for Clinton, and that if Clinton were to become president, “the country is over.”
