Nine women grace the cover of Forbes second annual Self-Made Women issue, and together they’re worth a cool $9.7 billion. The savvy bunch includes Harvard grads and college dropouts alike, who range in age from 32 to 69.

Among the ladies listed are Sophia Amoruso, the trendy Millennial who started powerhouse e-commerce retailer Nasty Gal and is following it with a mini media empire comprising a bestselling book, a podcast, and an upcoming Netflix series. Forbes values her at $280 million.

She’s joined by Sara Blakely, who created the ubiquitous Spanx brand and still owns 100 percent of the $400 million company. She herself is listed at $1 billion.

Also on the list is Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman, valued at $2.1 billion.
