I am Cait, Caitlyn Jenner’s reality show chronicling her experiences transitioning to life as a woman, is being pulled off the air in Africa after a string of viewer complaints, according to the show’s South African broadcaster.

Multichoice said it was dropping the show out of respect for the views of the audience and because of diverse regulatory environments in Africa.

Reports say that the decision came as a result of a request from Nigerian authorities. Nigerian media reported that some parents did not want their children watching the program.

The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission also asked broadcasters to pull I am Jazz last October — another show with transgender themes.
