With Daniel Craig winding down his run as 007 on the big screen, the sweepstakes for which actor will succeed him as the iconic spy are heating up. Idris Elba and Damien Lewis are two of the names bandied about as possible James Bonds. And while the casting of Elba would turn the historically white character on its side, others are thinking more next level — like completely upend the Bond character and cast a woman in the legendary role. X-Files star Gillian Anderson officially threw her hat into the ring over the weekend with a tweet that imagined her in a movie poster as 007.

Anderson said she didn’t know who made the poster, and fans are clearly on board with the idea. The tweet has been retweeted more than 12,000 times and has exceeded 24,000 likes. Anderson’s tweet even spawned other speculative movie posters, like this one featuring Anderson as Agent Scully on a poster for the next Bond film.
Anderson, however, was not the first woman to eye up the 007 character. In a new interview with Complex magazine, megastar Priyanka Chopra was asked about possibly landing a role as a Bond girl. She dismissed that idea in swift order, saying, “F**k that. I wanna be Bond.”
