In a cover story for the latest issue of Complex magazine, Bollywood icon and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra posed for a photo in an ocean of money and gave a frank interview that revealed her distaste for being typecast — both as an Indian, and as a woman. “I was very sure I did not want to be the stereotype of what Indian people are seen as, which is Bollywood, and henna,” said Chopra of her Indian heritage. And when she told Complex about her upcoming role as the villain in Baywatch — a role originally intended for a man — she couldn’t resist adding that it was “another barrier broken.” People looking to compliment Chopra tell her she’d make a great Bond girl, Chopra says. But she wants them to know she has a different role in mind. “F**k that,” laughed Chopra. “I wanna be Bond.”
