Adversity can push some people under, while giving others an entirely new lease on life. Megan Sullivan most definitely falls into the latter camp. After a month in which she suffered three health setbacks — a 50-foot fall in Yosemite, a skin-cancer diagnosis and the misfortune of being struck by a car — Sullivan determined to see the seven wonders of the world. The journey took her to 12 different countries, all of which she chronicled on her 7 Wonders of the World website, as well as posting to her Instagram and YouTube channel. Sullivan traveled with her then very-new boyfriend, Chris McNamara. “I realized my three-year dream of traveling around the world, ten days before departure with three hours of planning and with some guy I’d known for two weeks,” she wrote.
