Make way — world’s smartest young woman coming through! Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna of in Long Island is only 17 years old, but she’s well on her way toward world domination. Through a press release from her school, the Elmont Memorial High valedictorian announced this week that she was was accepted to all eight Ivy League schools in the United States. “I am humbled by all of the college acceptance letters that I recently received,” Uwamanzu-Nna said. “I am reminded that I have a responsibility to be a role model for others and use my experiences to encourage and inspire others, especially young women.”
With a weighted GPA of 101.64 (who even knew they went that high?!), Uwamanzu-Nna was actually accepted to all 12 schools she applied to, including Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. No word yet on where this bright young woman will send her commitment, but Seventeen reported that she must decide by May 1 and plans for focus on environmental studies and biochemistry.
