Uniqlo launches line of hijabs with designer Hana Tajima

Japanese casual wear designer and global brand Uniqlo has recently brought its 99-piece line of hijabs and other modest attire — produced with visual artist and designer Hana Tajima — to the United States, Buzzfeed reported. The British-Japanese Muslim designer created scarves, skirts, blouses, kebayas, and pants for the 2016 UNIQLO x Hana Tajima collection, which was first released in Southeast Asia last year, and debuted in U.S. and U.K at the end of February.

Dolce and Gabbana launched a hijab line earlier this year, to which Muslim women responded with mixed emotions.
