A 31-year old woman who was walking down the street with her young child in the city of Lübeck, Germany, was reportedly able to hold a man who tried to sexually assault her in a grip until the police arrived. The Local reports that the woman noticed an unknown man following her and eventually approaching her and putting his hand up between her legs. At this point, she was able to grab hold of him and did not let go until he was arrested by police, who had been alerted by passers-by. The neighborhood where the woman was walking had been plagued by a string of similar sexual attacks, with seven different incidents reported in the last three weeks. The police now believe that it is “very likely” the attacker they arrested was behind several of the other attacks in the area.
