Jaden Smith is the new face of Louis Vuitton’s womenswear campaign

In what appears to be a new trend of unconventional muses, Louis Vuitton has revealed that Jaden Smith — son of Will Smith/actor/rapper/fashion designer/occasional batman—is the latest face of its womenswear campaign. Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, released images of the 17-year-old wearing an embellished skirt, fringed top, and leather jacket while posing alongside female models. It’s certainly a departure from the fashion house’s norm, but Smith has been known to wear the occasional dress in public, making him an apt choice for LV’s gender-bending campaign.  Given Smith’s penchant for, erm, interesting philosophical musings (“How Can Mirrors Be Real If Our Eyes Aren’t Real”), we can’t wait to hear his thoughts on his new couture status.
