Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman in America

By WITW Staff on December 29, 2015

Hillary Clinton is once again the woman whom Americans admire the most, according to the annual poll conducted by Gallup. It is the 14th consecutive year and 20th year overall that Clinton has taken the top spot, a record for anyone, male or female. She also now has more first place finishes in the poll than her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who was the most admired man in America eight times.

The most admired man in this year’s poll was President Obama, who has taken the top spot eight times. In second place on the men’s side, however, was a tie between Pope Francis and Donald Trump. Malala Yousafzai was the second most-admired female. Queen Elizabeth has finished in the top 10 a record 47 times, while Clinton has placed 24 times in the top 10, according to the pollsters.
