Bette Midler throws shade at “uninformed” Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner has been on the receiving end of some tough talk lately for her statements on what it means to be a woman and, now, for her political views. Legendary songstress Bette Midler didn’t mince words over Jenner’s declaration to The Los Angeles Times that she still plans to vote Republican despite the GOP’s less-than-progressive view on LGBT rights.

“People, #CaitlynJenner says she is STILL voting GOP in 2016. Regardless of gender identity, I guess she identifies most as “uninformed,” Midler tweeted.

Midler’s been on something of a politics kick on Twitter lately, blasting pithy criticisms of Republican presidential candidates to her 786,000 followers.

“Bobby Jindal ended his campaign. Who would’ve thought that ‘son of immigrants who hates immigrants’ would be such an unpopular brand?” she quipped in a tweet on Friday.

Earlier last week Jenner drew sharp words from actress Rose McGowan over Jenner’s statement that the hardest part of being a woman is “figuring out what to wear.”
