Reese Witherspoon might be right about her “most hated question”

Reese Witherspoon has called out the five words she most dreads reading in any script, inviting film audiences to watch with a more critical eye

At Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year awards, Reese Witherspoon was honored for her contribution to women in film. During her speech, the Hollywood actor and producer stressed the importance of creating roles for women both on and off the screen. “I dread reading scripts that have no women involved in their creation because inevitably I get to that part where the girl turns to the guy, and she says, ‘What do we do now?!'” said Witherspoon, who started her own production company. “Do you know any woman in any crisis situation who has absolutely no idea what to do?” she asked. The actress called it her “most hated question” and told attendees to go back and watch their favorite movies for proof. We took Reese up on that offer and have to say, it’s painfully annoying to watch.
