By WITW Staff on November 4, 2015

If the mere mention of the Container Store gets you feeling all tingly inside, we have some good news: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, a best-selling book by Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo, will be developed into a half-hour comedy series for NBC. Burning Love creator Erica Omaya and Friends producer Greg Malins have been tasked with turning Kondo’s guide to decluttering into primetime TV fare. The series reportedly “centers on a young woman in a moment of crisis who attempts to get her messy life in order.” The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up has sold over three million copies worldwide, and the success of the book earned Kondo a spot on TIME’s “100 Most Influential People” list of 2015.
