Good news for Wild fans: Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, and author Cheryl Strayed are collaborating once again, this time on a TV series for HBO. With the working title of Tiny Beautiful Things, the show will be based on Strayed’s collection of “Dear Sugar” advice columns. HBO has described the series as a one-hour drama that “will explore love, loss, lust and life through the eyes of a Portland family who live by the mantra that the truth will never kill you.” Dern has been cast as the lead role, Witherspoon may also appear in the series, and both actresses will join Strayed as executive producers. The trio previously worked together on the film-adaptation of Strayed’s memoir Wild.
