Dancing with the Stars co-host and Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews was staying in a Nashville Marriott hotel in 2008, in town on an assignment to cover a Vanderbilt University football game. Michael David Barrett learned she was a guest at the hotel and requested the room next to hers and without her knowledge, he filmed Andrews as she changed clothing through a peephole in her door and uploaded the videos to the Internet. An FBI investigation followed and Barrett was convicted of felony stalking in 2010, but the incident continues to play out in the courts. This week, Andrews revealed on a judicial order that she is seeking $75 million in damages from Marriott International, West End Hotel Partners, Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University, arguing that the parties were negligent and allowed her for her privacy to be invaded. The trial is set to start in February 2016 and expected to last ten days.
