Hillary Clinton only candidate to raise Planned Parenthood during debate

At Tuesday’s Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton slammed Republicans for opposing paid family leave, while backing “big government” in trying to shut down Planned Parenthood. Surprisingly, it was the only time Planned Parenthood or the issue of abortion access was brought up during the entire two-hour debate, while this was a hotly debated issue during the past two GOP primary debates. “When people say that, it’s always the Republicans or their sympathizers who say you can’t have paid leave, you can’t provide health care,” Clinton said when asked whether paid family leave would make it through Congress.”They don’t mind having big government to interfere with a woman’s right to choose and to try to take down Planned Parenthood. They’re fine with big government when it comes to that. I’m sick of it! You know, we can do these things.”
