A photo posted on Facebook by a fertility clinic is stirring deep emotions in people. The image, posted by the Sher Fertility Institute, shows an infant girl lying on her back inside a heart fashioned out of scores of syringes and vials — the very syringes and vials that the baby’s mother used in her effort to become pregnant through IVF over the course of a year and a half. The photo “shows the true definition of love that went into making this gorgeous new baby girl,” the caption accompanying the image reads in part. Dr. Molina Dayal told ABC News that the supplies used to make the heart in the photo represent only a portion of what was used by the mother, her patient, over the 18-month period. A spokesperson for the Sher Fertility Institute said the photo triggered an outpouring of IVF stories from other proud moms in the comment section — if you click through and read, make sure to have a tissue near by.
