“I’ve been on the Pill for so long; how hard will it be to get pregnant?” That’s the question Jessica Biel asked herself when she and her husband, Justin Timberlake, started planning to conceive. “Suddenly I realized I really didn’t know what’s going on inside my own body,” the 33-year-old told Glamour, confessing, “It was shocking.” To help women better understand their bodies – everything from puberty to contraception – the actress has teamed with activist Saundra Pelletier in launching a series of online videos that allow women to tell their stories and inform one another, “so they don’t feel scared or ashamed or gross,” Biel said. The pair hopes the videos impact a global audience, but also aim to reach girls in their home country, where only “22 [U.S.] states require public schools to teach sex education,” Pelletier said. No question is off limits for the video series, according to the women.
