Stop the presses! A new survey by fertility app Kindara, asking 500 women about their sex lives has found that more than 50 percent of women would like to be having more sex. Of those surveyed, 75 percent would like to be getting it on more than three times a week, while an indefatigable 13 percent would like to see their weekly average exceed six times. That women wouldn’t be as interested in sex as men is not the only stereotype the survey debunks: a majority of women said they orgasm during every sexual encounter and about 10 percent do so multiple times. The idea that women crave an emotional connection during sex does hold up: more than half of the women (53 percent) named it as the most important factor for good sex, with “foreplay” coming in at an honorable second place (23 percent). Another key finding of the survey was that “stress” was the main thing negatively impacting these women’s sex lives (39 percent) – moreso than being out of sync with their partner, not being in the mood or struggling with self-image.
