Vanity Fair’s October cover, featuring “the titans of late-night television” perfectly illustrates late night’s much-discussed diversity problem. The ten talk-show hosts shown casually hanging out together (thanks to some heavy photo-editing) are overwhelmingly white, and all-male. This is, unfortunately, an accurate portrayal of what late-night comedy looks like and Vanity Fair countered criticism by pointing out that their cover story explicitly addressed late night comedy’s women problem. Nevertheless, ex-Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee is about to drastically change that landscape when her own late-night show Full Frontal will premiere on TBS in January 2016. To remind us of that fact, she tweeted out her own hilarious, photo-shopped version of the Vanity Fair cover – which pretty much has to be seen to be believed:
