Two actresses tie as TV’s highest-paid with $28.5M in earnings

Last month, Forbes magazine released its list of the world’s highest-paid movie actresses, which J.Law topped with a staggering $52 million in earnings. This month, it’s the TV actresses who get a turn in the spotlight and two actresses, Sofia Vergara and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, have tied for the top of the heap, each with a $28.5 million haul over the period from June 1, 2014 to June 1, 2015. Both are the forces behind wildly popular network sitcoms. Vergara stars as on ABC’s Modern Family and Cuoco-Sweeting plays Penny on CBS’ Big Bang Theory. Vergara, who is topping the list for the fourth consecutive year, and Cuoco-Sweeting both have numerous endorsement deals in addition to their lucrative sitcom contracts.
