Family smashes open tomb of “dead” teen heard “screaming for help”

In Honduras, the relatives of 16-year-old Neysi Perez were mourning her death when they reportedly heard the girl screaming inside her coffin. “As I put my hand on her grave I could hear noises inside. I heard banging, then I heard her voice. She was screaming for help,” her husband Rudy Gonzales told local media. Perez, who dropped dead in the hallway of her parent’s home, was three months pregnant at the time of death and was buried in her wedding dress. After breaking open the tomb, relatives claimed that Perez’s bruised fingertips were visible through a glass viewing window that had been smashed. A cemetery worker also claimed to have heard noises coming from the tomb. Perez’s body was taken to a hospital in San Pedro Sula, where medics declared her clinically dead.
