Belgian ”sexologist” Goedele Liekens is on a mission to reform the way sex education is done in schools. In “Sex in Class,” a new documentary airing on Britain’s Channel 4, Liekens attempts to bring her sex-positive message to a country known for its discomfort with talking about sex. Liekens is particularly concerned that teens are learning about sex from online porn — and that they’re missing key lessons about pleasure, consent and female anatomy; she sends girls home with a mirror to explore their bodies, and tells the boys to try shaving twice a day so they can see what girls go through. Liekens is also campaigning to get sex ed on Britain’s national curriculum as a full-fledged high school course.
