35 Cosby accusers speak out about their experiences

Thirty-five of the 46 women who have publicly accused Bill Cosby of assaulting them shared their harrowing ordeals with New York magazine in a series of interviews 6 months in the making. The resulting photos and videos detail both the women’s memories of abuse and what they faced when they made their accusations public. They were “met, mostly, with skepticism, threats, and attacks on their character,” Noreen Malone writes for New York.

“In 2005, Bill Cosby still had control of the media. In 2015, we have social media. We can’t be disappeared. It’s online and can never go away,” said Tamara Green. Now an attorney, she was an aspiring singer and model at the time of her alleged attack in the early 1970s.
