Kim Yo-jong, the younger sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, will take on a bigger role in the regime, it was announced on Friday. As vice-director of the “Propaganda and Agitation” of the ruling (and only) North Korean Worker’s Party, she’ll be in charge of promoting her brother’s cult of personality. Details of Kim Yo-jong’s life are difficult to validate, but she’s thought to be around 27 or 28 and to have spent time at a Swiss boarding school; she’s also rumored to be married to the son of the party secretary. Yo-jong should be set for awhile: the 89-year-old propagandist she’s replacing had held the post since the 1980s.
