Japanese women have been flocking to a zoo in Nagoya to catch a glimpse of a hunky gorilla named Shabani. The gorilla is said by many to have handsome features. Takayuki Ishikawa, a spokesperson for the zoo, reportedly explained why Shabani has so many women admirers. “He is more buff than most gorillas and he’s at his peak physically. We’ve seen a rise in the number of female visitors — women say he’s very good-looking,” Ishikawa said. Another factor may be that many Japanese men have been showing a growing apathy toward sex, to the extent that some are reportedly concerned for the future of the Pacific Island nation. There’s little doubt Shabani has some highly-desired masculine features, but don’t get any wild ideas about trying to date him. He’s a family man through and through — zoo officials say he has two kids and two “female mates.” His hands are probably full with them.
