Fox News may be known for its female anchors, but Megyn Kelly is challenging the status quo — in more ways than one. Kelly, 44, a former corporate litigator, is building a reputation at Fox for throwing hardball questions at Republican presidential candidates and lecturing leading Senators, particularly on how they treat female reporters. In a moment that seemed to stray from the network’s ideological playbook, she famously told former Vice President Dick Cheney, “History has proven that you got it wrong on Iraq.” Though some say she’s building a reputation for being tough, Kelly told Variety, “I think Hillary Clinton could handle me — easily,” adding “that would be epic television, here she is, this powerful woman talking to somebody who is also a woman in a powerful post, who would never be accused of giving her a pass. Right? But I respect Hillary Clinton, and all that she’s achieved.”
