Holly Madison says Hugh Hefner offered her “thigh opener” drugs

In what some are calling a “shocking tell-all memoir,” Holly Madison’s new book Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, reveals fresh details of her life at the Playboy mansion, including details on the emotional and verbal abuse she claims she suffered for years. In one of her earliest memories at the mansion, she reveals that Hugh Hefner offered her drugs, saying “in the ‘70s they used to call these pills thigh openers.” Though Holly eventually settled into a long-term relationship with Hefner and residence at the mansion, she writes that she later realized Hefner was a “manipulator and that he pitted us [other women in the house] against each other.” Reflecting on her time there, Holly says she realized she “wasn’t treated well,” and if she could go back and see her past self, she would “grab that young girl, shake her back into reality and scream, ‘What the hell are you thinking?’”
