It’s racy, it’s lacy. There are bras, g-strings and panties. And they’re all made just for men. This is a fashion trend you may not have seen coming, but according to Homme Mystere, an Australian company that specializes in making sexy underwear for men, the style has really been taking off lately. The brand launched its line of underwear — which closely resembles women’s lingerie — back in 2008, but since they undergarments became available for purchase online, men from around the world having been buying it up. Sales have been made by men in 30 countries around the world, including the U.S. and Russia. At least, that’s the story the husband and wife, Brent and Laura Krause, behind the brand are telling. Brent says guys really dig the bras, or “manssieres” as the company calls them (clearly a name inspired by Seinfeld). “I think bras are just something they [men] like the feel of,” he reportedly said. “I don’t know whether it’s the tightness around the chest or what it is, but it’s definitely the feeling that they’re after.” So there you have. Father’s Day 2015 is just five weeks away. If you really want to surprise the men in your life, pick them up a few manssieres and g-strings. Perfect gift.
